I placed a working SATA drive (formatted for both PC & Mac) in this unit and tried connecting to a PC and then a Mac via eSATA and also USB.

The Kingwin EZ-Dock includes both USB & eSATA cables, a 2.5" disk with cloning software for use with a PC (not Mac), a separate power supply, and it has a 1-year factory warranty. Pros: When it works, this type of device is the fastest and most economical way to mount bare SATA hard drives to your tower or laptop via USB or eSATA.
